24 okt mac’s got talent-winner Mathilde wants to spread positive energy
It was just in time. Barely two hours before mac’s got talent started, Mathilde (21) joined as the last participant for the audition. She hadn’t even had time to prepare her own class. That didn’t turn out to be problem: she improvised an ABS class in an enthusiastic way and managed to convince the jury of her skills. So soon we will see her as one of our instructors: “I am looking forward to make people sweat and spread some positive energy,” Mathilde says.
Mathilde, from France and Finland, has been living in Maastricht for three years now. She is currently doing her masters at the university. She has a lot of experience in sports. “Fencing, swimming, jogging, working out, the classes offered at Mac. I did it all. Although I don’t work out every day, I strongly believe that it is really important to feel good in our minds and to create awesome energy for ourselves.”
Being a group class instructor will be a completely new experience for Mathilde. “At first it’ll probably be a challenge, but I think I’m ready for this,” she says. “I am really looking forward to it! The classes I would like to teach are Fitness Challenge (Butt and Belly Workout) and core training. At home I often do these kind of workouts. I like them because you train your muscles while sweating. And of course I also look forward to working in a nice, positive environment!”
